Depending on your interests and background, you will have the opportunity to work with one of four project teams.Responsibilities:
Apps Marketplace: Interested in the process for how we on-board and pay 3rd party developers who are providing Jive Apps to the Jive Apps Market? Defining and managing the entire process for how we bill, support, report and deliver Jive Apps to customers and their employees is the responsibility of this team.
Mobile: Dream of improving and maintaining mobile applications that allow employees to get work done from anywhere? Our team is intimately familiar with the constraints and opportunities available in the mobile application development space.
Big Data: Motivated by big scale challenges? This team builds and improves big data processing pipelines and search indexing on top of Apache Hadoop and HBase. They work extensively with open source software on big data, the social graph, and machine learning problems.
Core Product: Do you have a strong passion to develop large scalable Java web applications that will be used by millions of people? This team is working on maintaining, enhancing and adding all the great features, functions, processes and tools that come together to make up Jive's award winning social business platform.
Requirements:
Computer Science Major
Above average Java skills
Fundamental Linux administration experience
Relentless passion for working on great Web Applications/Services
