About the Job
We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician I/II (Energy Advisor) to work remotely in Evansville, IN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical services as well as outreach and sales support to the demand side management programs for utility clients. Successful candidates must demonstrate ability to fulfill the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct on-site energy assessments (audits) at small business facilities across southern Indiana to identify and recommend energy efficiency improvements in systems
Install simple energy efficiency measures (e.g. screw-in fluorescent lighting and hot water saving devices) at small business facilities
Enter data into software packages and produce reports to summarize results and to recommend savings amounts, installation costs, and incentive payments
Present reports to customer and sell the value proposition of implementing energy improvements
Provide follow-up technical assistance to support energy efficient project implementation
Conduct site visits to verify installation and operation of baseline and replacement energy using equipment
Communicate and coordinate efficiently internal team and with subcontractors and clients
Contributing to the evolution of program strategies and the design of program features and services
Contributing to the design and deployment of program marketing and outreach campaigns
Maintain quality control of all deliverables and product installations, demonstrating quality, technical excellence, objectivity, safety, and clarity while maintaining project schedules
Qualifications
Bachelors, Associates, or Trade School degree in a related field (e.g. engineering, construction, building and/or environmental science)
Minimum of one year of experience and demonstrated expertise within the energy management, facility management, HVAC, lighting/electrical contractor, and/or the energy efficiency industry
Proven direct sales experience and/or training
Understanding of building science applications and/or construction background
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deliverable deadlines and budgets
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills are paramount
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Proficiency with computers and various applications and technologies
Obtain and maintain a valid driver?s license with an acceptable driving record
Successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
Demonstrated experience in energy auditing and performing associated measures analysis a plus
BPI certification in Building Analyst a plus
Experience with energy modeling software a plus
