Acurian is offering an exciting new opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional looking for a different challenge within the pharmaceutical industry. Acurian is currently seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented professional for the role of Enrollment Optimization Representative to manage a designated territory to help in our efforts to support patient accrual to clinical trials. The Enrollment Optimization Representative will support the advancement of science and development of new therapeutic alternatives as a part of a dynamic, rapidly growing entrepreneurial organization.
The primary responsibility of this position will be development and management of a designated territory with the goal of supporting up to 50 clinical trial sites to maximize patient enrollment. This role will support sites to increase patient accrual via on-the-ground efforts through regular on-site visits, site trainings, hands-on site support, identification of site specific recruitment barriers, and maintaining site accountable for enrollment goals.
The development of relationships and maintaining an active presence within the study sites will be essential elements of the position.
Local travel to hospitals, academic centers and community practices taking part in the trial is mandatory. Overnight travel may be required. Qualified candidates must reside within the open territory which covers approximately a 50-mile radius from the following locations:
Atlanta, GA
Greensboro/Winston Salem, NC
Fort Wayne, IN
Waco/Dallas, TX
Los Angeles, CA
As an Acurian Enrollment Optimization Representative you will also interact with an Acurian Project Manager and be required to provide updates on outreach progress and to compile weekly reports on the number of physician visits conducted and the outcome of each interaction. You will also assist in identifying trial specific issues related to patient recruitment and opportunities for developing solutions to overcome these concerns.
A pharmaceutical sales background, excellent communication and analytical skills are required. Qualified candidate must also be able to understand and address both business and scientific oriented needs of healthcare professionals by engaging in meaningful dialog within the sponsors confidentiality requirements and limits. Candidate must be self-motivated, possess a high degree of technical expertise, and have exceptional selling skills and meet minimum goal requirements for account management on a weekly basis, including weekly reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors/Masters of Science, with 3 or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience
We are seeking self starters with an ability to operate independently and possessing a strong desire to deliver results
Must have strong sales/persuasion skills and experience
Must be able to speak confidently and knowledgably about research processes
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required
Personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and a customer focus are necessary
Committed to executing Corporate strategies to ensure consistent targeting and messaging
Experience in utilizing Corporate platforms and supporting analysis to plan activities and report call results and next steps
Must be able to organize and prioritize to maximize efficiency to meet weekly and monthly target goals
Strong computer literacy (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must
