Position Summary:
The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for driving new business within the Enterprise Business Solutions market in APAC. The AE will need to drive new key accounts as well as renewing and expanding existing account base. This position will be primarily focused developing New Business (75%) renewing existing business (25%). This person will specialize in the pursuit of Corporate Clients, Associations (small and large) and large Event Planners.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales group and be able to execute all duties that come with the role.
- Need to be able communicate all business needs and execute against the goals for the team.
- Be able to help negotiate large complex deals
- Effectively and accurately manage sales pipeline within Salesforce.com to maximize all new business opportunities. Monitor and report sales activity within the system.
- Exceed established new business revenue targets for Event Sales, and SMMP sales.
- Define and prioritize addressable market of key companies and target groups
- Develop relationships with companies that have not obtained a relationship with Active
- Exceed all defined KPI's in pursuing targeted Key Accounts
- Help develop individual action plan to penetrate defined accounts in territory
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales goals and quantify achievement against each New Business Account.
- Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report in Salesforce.com.
- Ensure entire team is trained on all product and services
- Develop creative, unique ideas for target marketing of new business within Midwest Market.
- Follow up on all strategic marketing activities focused on driving new business.
- Effectively and accurately manage sales pipeline within Salesforce.com to maximize all new business opportunities. Monitor and report sales activity within the system.
- Maintain effective communication with General Manager and International colleagues to share knowledge and drive APAC accounts.
- Ensure that communication of sales leads for all products flow effectively to Supplier Sales Team when appropriate.
- Create ADP's (Account Development Plans) for all to maximize revenue for all new business accounts.
- Liaise with Account Management Team and Project Management Team to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Review existing ADP's with Account Management Team to ensure that opportunities for cross-selling and revenue maximization within the client organization are being executed.
- Ensure customer issues are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours.
- Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide new business are continuously developed and that those relationships are grown and strengthened.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred Experience/Education:
- At least (5) years Sales Management or Enterprise experience in technology, software or SAS sales
- Proven track record of success and exceeding sales and revenue goals
- Solid references that will testify to sales success in the past
- Business to Business sales experience
- National/ Global Company experience preferred
- Has developed relationships at the VP level and managed major accounts â€" 100K to $1M plus per year
- Developed and delivered presentations to senior management
- PC Literate with aptitude for understanding technology related issues
- Expert in using Salesforce.com
- Able to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
