AE Responsibilities:

- Target and sell to enterprise accounts
- Prospect, develop, and close prospects for Marketos leading marketing automation and sales software
- Create and deliver accurate forecasts
- Demo using web tools to prospects and customers
- Close upsell deals and new add-on products
- Coordinate and work with extended team members
- Work closely with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure Marketo customer satisfaction
- Make our customers successful

Requirements:

- 6+ years of on-quota, B2B sales experience
- Must have history of selling licenses/subscriptions to large organizations
- On demand/SaaS experience
- Experience in highly competitive markets
- History of quota over-achievement and a compelling story of why you will be successful at Marketo
- Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment
- Teamwork and good communication skills a must
- Knowledge/experience selling CRM, SFA, and marketing software a plus
- Four year university/college degree required
- Preference to be based in San Mateo, CA
