Major responsibility
- To represent CP in a geographically defined territory or a set list of accounts and be responsible for expanding sales to existing accounts and building new business opportunities from a list of target customer accounts.
- To manage the sales process from discovery through negotiation and closing.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities and maintain sales forecasts.
- Formulate New Business strategies and implement tactical plans to achieve the assigned Quota.
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with senior executives across functional areas within the client base.
- Gain knowledge and insight to Customer's business priorities and challenges and propose Check Point solutions to address these needs.
- Educate prospects and customers regarding Check Points Product Portfolio.
- Identify key decision makers and the customer's budgetary process
- Work closely with Sales Engineering and Product Management to develop quotes/proposals;
- Communicate concepts to technical and non-technical key client decision makers.
- Managing and driving new business development
- New Business (revenue) generation via a named set of accounts and a list of development accounts
- Growth of Products as well as Services Revenues from the named account set.
- Accountable for positioning and driving: 3D Security Architecture to prospects.
- Responsible for finding new decision makers from with account base to sell End Point security, DLP and Remotes Access solutions
- Measured by 8 / 10 client meetings a week with an annual quota of around $1.5m (TBD).
Desired Background & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years field sales experience in either Endpoint or Security Sales.
- An appreciation of (to enable the positioning and subsequent qualification of) End Point security including Full Disk Encryption, Port Protection, Media Encryption, Personal Firewall and Anti-Malware
- Over-achievement in each of the field years with examples of major wins within Mid Enterprise Companies.
- Possess the drive, professionalism and energy for such a national role covering a multitude of accounts as well as collaborating with multiple re-sellers to succeed.
