Enterprise Applications System Engineer Axiom Law

Axiom seeks an individual who is passionate about ensuring their users are well supported and ensuring systems work as designed in support of business process. This individual must enjoy discovering what might be in partnership with those they support and operating at several levels to bring what might be into being.
Reporting to the Enterprise Applications Manager, the Enterprise Applications System Engineer will:
Provide functional and technical support to end users for Axiom?s cloud-based ERP ecosystem (Workday, Netsuite OpenAir, and Bullhorn) encompassing recruitment, CRM, matter resourcing, project management, accounting, payroll, human resources, and talent management functions.
Partner with business functions and technology team members to 1) surface, analyze, and define business goals & requirements, 2) translate requirements into functional and technical designs, 3) implement solutions, 4) validate solutions against defined goals and requirements, and 5) work to ensure on-going success of developed solutions.
Administer, audit, and configure the component applications of Axiom?s ERP ecosystem within the context of a compliance environment.
Develop test plans and scripts as well as support and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) processes in the context of Axiom?s change management processes.
Innovate, engineer, code, and test inter-systems integrations in support of business processes spanning systems in the context of a defined SDLC.
Measure and validate the health and appropriate function of systems and inter-system integrations in support of defined business processes and outcomes.
Development of technical and end-user standards of practice, training programs, training materials, and documentation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
A minimum of seven years of related post-graduate work experience requiring application of business systems analysis, business systems administration, solutions design, and software development skills.
Excellent quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interact and communicate with colleagues of varying levels of expertise.
Ability to communicate business process to technical resources.
Ability to create complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process/data flow.
Ability to gather requirements effectively, document requirements, and confirm observations with business owners.
Ability to perform fit/gap analysis based on requirements.
Hands-on software development skills using one or more of the following: Java, Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, or PHP.
Strong knowledge of procedural & object-oriented programming paradigms as well as architectural design patterns.
Experience in developing and integrating with web services APIs; strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, and JSON.
Experience working within integrated development environments (e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio) and using revision control systems.
SQL proficiency a plus.
Ability to work as a member of a team, lead specialists, manage all aspects of projects, and provide consultancy & support to users.
Ability to succeed in fast paced environments at a high-growth company; comfortable with tight timelines; possessing a sense of urgency.
Ability to find creative solutions to problems combined with a willingness to do what one must to ensure timelines & goals are met.

Ability to quickly master technical as well as functional complexities & nuances of diverse applications & technologies in support of Axiom?s ERP ecosystem.

Ability to quickly learn new technologies and keep abreast of the latest technological advances.
Headquartered in San Francisco, the role may require periodic travel to other Axiom sites. Some after-hours / weekend work will be necessary to minimize the impact of changes to your end users and to ensure project timelines are met.
