Enterprise Business Development Manager - IT Solutions Aptara
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED As an Enterprise Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing business with current and prospective customers, as well as penetration and retention of existing customers in the academic or corporate education industry. You will be responsible for selling the following professional services across industry sectors:
?Quality Assurance including; Functional testing, Performance testing, Automation, Test Management
?Software Development including; Portals, LMS, CMS, CRM, User Experience, Mobile / Smart Apps
?IT and Infrastructure including; Remote Infrastructure Services, Managed Server Solutions, Virtualization and Cloud Solutions, Desktop Management, Network Management
?Content Development including; E-Content Development, Digital Publishing, Multimedia Design
?Database Technologies including; SQL Server, Database optimization, SSRS, SSIS, Transactions and Logging, Replication
Sales Responsibilities Include:
?Manage a broad territory to drive new sales and expand existing business
?Creative prospecting through campaigns, business partners, and other activities to identify new clients
?Move sales opportunities to closure
?Work with internal teams as needed to create an effective solution for the client
? Work with internal teams to create and develop proposals and pricing models
?Maintain a thorough understanding of the client?s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry
?Meeting annual sales revenue quotas
?Five or more years of progressively more responsible sales experience, preferably in IT or Learning consulting sales areas
?Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, IT, Business or related field.
?Knowledge of IT Sales and Services a must.
?Business to business sales or pre-sales experience
?Territory planning and territory management
?Consultative selling experience to the executive level
?Ability to understand business problems and articulate a proposed solution based on Aptara?s managed service model
?Strong analytical skills, including market strategy, customer requirements and success factors, and a value-based selling process
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills including creation of convincing and strategic sales approaches, proposals, documentation and presentations.
?Motivated by a rewarding commission-based compensation plan.
?Advanced negotiation skills and contract experience across Statements of Work, MSAs, Retainers, Maintenance Programs and Software License Agreements.
