Enterprise Inside Sales Representative Liaison Technologies
The Inside Sales role is an excellent opportunity to work under the guidance of our senior account team to develop a deep understanding of our solution offerings and our internal sales processes and tools. This role will focus specifically on Fortune 1000 accounts. The Internal Sales Representative role is designed to build the knowledge needed at Liaison to receive top consideration as a candidate for our growing Strategic Account Team. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for partnering with the Strategic Account Executives in executing a Territory Strategy. This role is a quota bearing/commissioned role. The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Strategic Account Executives to plan out activities around generating and driving qualified leads for Named Accounts and assisting with Strategic Account planning and sales activities. They will report to the Strategic Account Executive and be responsible for meeting territory milestones, daily activities goals and monitoring progress towards quarterly goals. The ultimate goal of this position is to generate sales pipeline opportunities required to exceed the revenue goal for a specific sales region through new prospecting as well as expanding existing accounts. Liaison Technologies is currently seeking individuals with a successful track record in leveraging a consultative sales approach for discovering and developing solutions for customer business challenges.
Work at the direction of the Strategic Account Executive to conduct territory analysis and plan out an appropriate territory strategy to include both Strategic and Named Account activities.
Conduct the research required to understand prospect?s business challenges.
Assist Strategic Account Executives in creating messaging to develop a compelling value proposition around Liaison?s solution offerings.
Proactively lead outbound marketing activities for prospecting for B2B opportunities in Named Accounts within Liaison?s Target industries.
Follow-up on targeted outbound marketing campaigns to pre-qualify sales opportunities and schedule meetings for next step discussions.
Build sales pipeline with qualified prospects to achieve goals and objectives within defined territories.
Conduct research required to understand Liaison?s Strategic Accounts and work to identify additional account opportunities.
Maintain activity information and notes in salesforce.com.
Coordinate and execute closing activities for Strategic Accounts as required to assist the Strategic Account Executives.
Prioritize sales activities to ensure timely lead generation and qualification.
Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly status reports.
Meet or exceed individual performance objectives outlined and communicated on a quarterly basis.
Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communication or related discipline. MBA strongly preferred.
Demonstrated track record of prospecting large, diversified, global accounts, with skills including cold-calling, identifying new business opportunities and prospecting qualified decision makers.
Solid understanding of business-to-business and technology markets, how they function, and the trends and influences they have on clients' businesses.
Experience and proficiency conducting Internet research including a familiarity with Hoovers or OneSource, Yahoo Finance, LinkedIn, SalesForce, Google, etc.
3-5 years of business development or inside sales experience with an enterprise software/solution company calling on director and executive level targets.
Self-starter, goal-oriented, able to work with a high degree of autonomy and deliver measurable results for your team.
Work effectively and proactively with Strategic Account Executives, Sales Operations and Marketing teams.
Proficiency with sales automation systems such as salesforce.com.
Proficiency in all MS Office products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Superb time management and organizational skills.
Professional demeanor in representing Liaison at all times.
