LogRhythm is seeking an experienced Sales Manager. The Sales Manager position involves prospecting into mid- to large-sized companies, identifying and qualifying opportunities, effectively managing the sales process, and closing business to meet revenue objectives for the assigned territory. A technical sales background in Network and Network Security solutions is required.
Cold calling and prospecting
Giving presentations and demos
Managing pipeline and business in Salesforce.com
Provide price quotations, suggest products to meet customer requirements for their projects, and insure their orders are properly placed.
Up to 50% travel
Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
RFP completion and submission
Provide customer service
Participates in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs
Minimum 8 years sales experience with at least 3 years selling via direct sales and using Channel partners
Successful track record in IT and Network Security sales
Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities and close business
Strong presentation skills with on-line presentations and demonstrations
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) ? emails, RFPs, white papers, and reporting.
Experience with CRM applications ? preferably Salesforce.com
Extensive negotiation skills and ability to read and understand contracts
