This person will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence including system architecture, design and development of analytic solutions and can understand business challenges & translate them into requirements/solutions.
Individuals should have experience in the following areas:
Implementing Business Intelligence systems for internal or customer-facing groups including deep analysis, dashboards, reporting, performance management, KPI's
Understand star, snowflake data models and have implemented BI on top of them
Have been in customer facing or business group-facing roles
Have worked within the framework of common Project Management structures and practices including waterfall, agile, project planning, scope control, customer relationship management
Qualifications:
Very strong OBIEE 11G Reporting and Enterprise level query performance skills. (2 year or experience with 11G and at least 2 years of experience with OBIEE 10G required)
5+ years of overall enterprise data warehouse experience required.
3+ years of OBIEE admin experience required
Extensive experience developing and conducting performance tuning on OBIEE RPD layer(Physical, Business Model mapping and Presentation Layers)
Significant experience with data warehouses that utilize Star Schema data models.
Experience performing data validation on enterprise reports. Expertise with OBIEE Repository, report and database performance tuning.
Extensive experience using repository variables.
Strong SQL skills and SQL tuning skills.
A strong working knowledge of data analysis concepts and data structures required.
Industry knowledge in Finance is desirable
Good technical documentation skills required.
