Who We Want:
Bazaarvoice is looking for an extraordinarily talented sales professional to join our world-class sales team. We are looking for a unique sales person. You must be a hungry, consultative/solution Account Executive who consistently over-achieves quota, has a passion for social commerce, and has successfully sold business to business SaaS solutions.
Attractive candidates will be entrepreneurial, smart, hard working, and have a relentless ability to close. You have to be the type of person that craves a challenge and is unafraid to constantly push yourself outside your zone of comfort. You must be able to prospect and close business in a territory with both existing clients and acquisition accounts ? including the ability to carry the entire sales process from start to finish on your own merits and skills. Experience in cold-calling and lead generation with the ability to thrive in a fast changing environment is required.
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience selling to executives in the online divisions of Retail, Travel, Financial Services, and/or major brand manufacturers. The more experience you have with these organizations, the better. Our solution is focused on social merchandising thus a background in merchandising or merchandising solutions/technology will be a plus. A background in selling or servicing online marketing will also be a big plus. If you don?t have this background you will need to convince us that you have the ability to learn these ropes quickly and bring a perspective that can easily be adapted.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
5+ years relative experience in hunting new logos and growing existing business
Successful record of crushing quotas of over $2M annually
Experience cold-calling and generating leads in a territory and bringing those leads to close
Proven consultative sales skills with emphasis on ROI
Ability to manufacture deals and think outside the box
Social Media and eCommerce savvy and passion
Experience with SaaS and all the objections that come with it
Ability to successfully navigate a prospects IT, eCommerce, Marketing and Legal Departments at the executive level
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 50%
