Description:
Plateau is seeking an Enterprise Sales Executive to hunt for new sales opportunities for Plateaus Compensation Products in the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate will have the ability to actively and enthusiastically create new partnerships for Plateaus Compensation products and services. This position reports to The Vice President, North American Sales.
Job Duties include:
Primary responsibility is to meet and exceed the assigned quota for sales of Compensation products within the assigned territory.
Actively and aggressively develop a deep pipeline of Compensation specific opportunities
Develop the strategic position of Plateau while building long-term relationships with customers in a consultative sales style
Provide accurate forecasts to monitor achieving sales goals
Effectively communicate the status of opportunities to the organization.
Keep complete and accurate records of all sales activities using Plateaus SFA, Salesforce.com
Follow up all leads and ensure that focus on key account opportunities is maintained
Effectively communicate territory needs to other groups within Plateau, and secure resources necessary to close business
Draft and negotiate contracts, using Plateau resources as required
Command excellent knowledge of Plateaus product line including all features of our Compensation product and the basic features of all Plateau products and services.
Required qualifications:
Demonstrated track record of consistent achievement of sales targets
At least five years of experience selling in the proposed territory
Five or more years successful sales experience with solution-based software products
Must be able to travel 50 or more.
Knowledge of top companies in proposed territory, with senior contacts in their HR, Compensation and/or IT departments
Experience selling in Software industry or experience selling corporate-wide solutions required
Skilled in successfully presenting new technologies at high levels within organizations & large groups
Creative problem solver, business builder and results oriented team player
Ability to aggressively prospect new customers
Ability to customize the communication/presentation of Plateaus product line and demonstrate how it aligns with the customers business needs
Knowledge of the Compensation industry
