What we do:
Aras runs a SaaS-style Subscription business model similar to Red Hat. We operate an in-bound marketing and sales process to generate business, and use content marketing to drive traffic to our website. Once at our site, people learn about Aras and our solutions, and ultimately become Subscribers. Our keys to success include bringing the right people to our site, providing the right information to support their decision making, engaging efficiently during the buying process and having perfect execution of our internal order to cash processes.
What you?ll do:
You will be a high level strategic sales executive responsible for managing large scale sales opportunities across multiple vertical industries. You will be responsible for generating software subscription and consulting services revenue from major accounts in the broader manufacturing market using a strategic selling approach.
Working directly as an individual, occasionally in a team or sometimes in collaboration with our reseller partners, you will be responsible for an annual quota and will drive new sales of enterprise software subscriptions. The position requires outstanding sales leadership skills both as an individual and as a mentor. Successful applicants will be highly motivated professionals who can juggle many concurrent, complex, sales processes in parallel.

Must be able to succeed at creating new business through effective remote networking with senior executives.
Be willing to develop multiple, long term strategic accounts in parallel that culminate in the sales of large scale PLM product subscriptions and services while simultaneously executing shorter term, smaller opportunities and accounts.
Understand business operations and define for the customer the overall financial value of PLM.
Understand and sell solutions for high level business problems, incorporating all PLM product modules across large multi divisional business.
Operate under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment after initial training period.
This position will require travel up to 10% of the time.
Minimum of 5 years sales experience.
Self-starter and a hunter/challenger characteristic sales type.
Must have a history of achieving or exceeding quota consistently.
Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills.
Experience in the PLM, SCM, ERP, DM or CRM technology field (or similar) for strategic accounts.
History and knowledge with discrete manufacturing.
Familiar with desktop solutions such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other job related software packages.
Exceptional written and oral skills and strong organizational abilities.
Understand the complex and typically long sales cycles at the strategic level and how to maximize efforts.
