SourceMedical is currently seeking a Clinical Forms Designer for it?s Surgery Division, located in Wallingford, CT.
This position is responsible for creating electronic health records, as WinForms, from clinical paper charts, to be used within a satellite application in a database-driven software suite.
Responsibilities include the ability to estimate project efforts, develop WinForms from clinical paper charts according to written specifications and seeing them through a full product life-cycle.
This position also requires working knowledge of C#/.NET and XML to create new code-snippets used for a proprietary Visual Studio 2008 add-in automatic code-generation tool, as well as debug and maintain existing code-snippets.
Required:
--Experience as a WinForms/WPF GUI designer using Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010.
--Experience using Visual SourceSafe, or other source control software.
--Entry-level knowledge of C#/.NET.
--Entry-level knowledge of XML.
--Entry-level knowledge of Object-Oriented Design & Development principles.
--Entry-level knowledge of SQL and writing basic SQL queries.
--Entry-level knowledge of relational database management systems and database design.
--Strong written and verbal communications skills
--Strong track record of academic and/or work related achievements
--Highly motivated, self sufficient, and able to work both independently or in a team oriented structure
Desired:
--Experience using automatic code-generation tools.
--Knowledge of Windows XP/Vista/7 operating systems.
--Experience with Intersystems Cache/Ensemble Database System.
--Highly developed debugging skills.
--Ability to learn a new API.
Travel Requirements:
--Limited travel is required.
