Epi Process Technician Soraa
This position will work with a team of scientist, engineers, and technicians to perform R&D and production MOCVD processing of LED thin film devices on GaN wafers. Responsible for MOCVD tool operation, wafer characterization, equipment preventative maintenance, process/equipment trouble shooting.
Must be able to work B-Shift in a compressed work week. Hours are from 6:00 PM to 6:15 AM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesdays.
Operate MOCVD tool
Perform maintenance on various semiconductor equipment
Trouble shoot equipment and process failures
Characterize LED wafers with photo luminesce tool, XRD, and microscope
Clean and prep parts for use in MOCVD processing
Help develop best practices and procedure for LED MOCVD production
Maintain LED production schedule
Communicate any production issues with engineering team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with SPC, MES tracking systems, Microsoft Excel and email
Maintain a neat, orderly, clean work environment
Experience and Skills:
At least 2 years of semiconductor process / equipment experience: experience with LED MOCVD a plus
Familiar with LED thin film wafer characterization XRD, photo luminescence, and optical microscope inspection.
Capable of safely performing equipment maintenance related tasks
Capable of working independently
