Epidemiologist Decision Resources

The epidemiologist is core to the bottom-up forecasting process at Decision Resources, a key component of several of our multi-client reports.

Responsibilities:

Produce reports on the descriptive epidemiology of major drug indications in the United States, Europe, and Japan. The epidemiologist may also be required to produce ad-hoc analysis on other markets, in particular South America and China.
Use published articles, cancer registries, government survey data, and other resources, to summarize current information on prevalence and will forecast the numbers for variety of diseases.
Support other programs and units within Decision Resources, for instance, by helping to maintain and enhance an epidemiology database and by contributing to new products and proprietary consulting projects globally.

Requirements:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Epidemiology or other Public Health field.
Academic or industry experience of epidemiology.
Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets; Internet-based resources and and ability to write clearly in English. Since writing is a central aspect of the job, candidates must have superior English language skills.
Candidates will be required to produce a writing sample at the time of interview.
