Epitaxial Process Engineer Soraa
Job Description:
The individual will be a part of the epitaxial process engineering team and will be responsible for transferring, developing, and maintaining processes in production MOCVD reactors. The individual will be working closely with EPI scientists, characterization engineers, hardware engineers, EPI technicians, and operators. The individual will provide contributions to process improvement through scheduling of runs, tracking process parameters, and troubleshooting process and equipment problems. The individual will be working on continuous improvement of yields. The individual needs to be a self-starter with strong personal work ethic.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
? Taking ownership of process and equipment aspects of MOCVD growth
? Assisting EPI scientists with transferring processes from R&D to production tool
? Set-up, scheduling, and evaluation of LED production runs
? Data driven process decision making based on timely and thorough data analysis
? Process improvement through designed experimentation
? Yield improvement through identification and elimination of yield limiters
? Mentoring, coaching, and training of process technicians
? Write clear reports and make crisp presentations of results and conclusions
? Communicate and work collaboratively within the Epitaxy group and across the company
Experience and Skills:
Education/Qualifications:
? MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Materials Science with relevant experience in III-N MOCVD growth process
? 3-5 years experience in semiconductor industry in manufacturing or R&D capacity
? Hands-on experience in MOCVD growth, reactor operation and maintenance
? Experience in structural, optical and electrical characterization of LED wafers
? Experience in design of experiments and statistical data analysis
? Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive on technical challenges inside and outside own core area of expertise and interact effectively across development and manufacturing teams
? High level of dedication and commitment to produce good results
? Good team work and communication skills
