Equipment Engineer BinOptics
The Equipment Engineer is primarily responsible for the installation and qualification of equipment used for production at the BinOptics facility in Ithaca NY. In addition, he or she will be responsible for maintenance of the building infrastructure. Responsibilities:
Installation and qualification of equipment used for opto-electronic device manufacturing.
Assistance with design of experiments and process development for photonic products.
Troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing process equipment including electro-mechanical, pneumatic, RF power, and vacuum systems.
Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of building infrastructure at all Ithaca, NY locations including HVAC, clean dry air (CDA), LN2/N2 delivery, process chilled water, and electrical distribution systems.
Assist with small to medium scale building construction and repair when necessary.
Update maintenance logs, schedules, and other documentation as work is completed.
Requirements:
3-5 years? experience in the semiconductor equipment field with a proven track record in installation and maintenance of equipment.
Direct experience in HVAC, Hi Vac, and Electrical systems as well as Building construction.
Hands on engineer who is a team player.
Flexibility of time and effort to complete a project or repair with short notice.
Good organizational and record keeping skills.
Good communication skills.
Bachelors in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials or equivalent combination of education and industrial experience.
Experience with commercial design packages including Auto-CAD and Solid Works.
