Equipment Engineer Applied Optoelectronics
The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the PM, calibration and upgrade of semiconductor equipment on a daily basis. Also database logging the maintenance in a Labview database and monitor progress. Knowledge in PLC, Labview, Solidworks, MS Word, Excel, Access is a plus.
Establish and maintain effective preventative maintenance programs that ensures reliability and documentation
Conduct maintenance support working with process engineering on all production equipment
Ensure thorough and complete asset and engineering record documentation
Responsible for preventive maintenance to minimize down time
Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures, construct and compile capability and reliability data for manufacturing equipment
Work across different departments on providing data and verification of failure. Use engineering methods and techniques in analytical problem solving and troubleshooting to support the production scheduling, efficiency
Work with Engineering and Production to support and improve safety, productivity, quality and cost
Evaluate and/or analyze unique problems with equipment, troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed
Develops or maintains fixturing, hardware, and software for a variety of process tools in the fab.
Works in conjunction with process engineers to develop hardware and software solutions to increase yield and throughput, through streamlined measurement, process simplification, or higher levels of integration
Authors CAD drawings based on proprietary designs from the engineering team to document part designs, and revisions to aid in internal and subcontract manufacturing of the components
Education: BS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience: At least 5+ years for BS or 2+ years for MS in manufacturing environment
Other: Strong analytical skill, Detail oriented, Strong computer literacy skills
