Fluidigm is looking for a functional business analyst to support and manage the expansion of our global ERP system with a focus on Finance, Accounting, and Logistics. The role will require working closely with Fluidigm business leaders and external technical consultants to continuously improve and expand the system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect, analyze and document business requirements among Finance, Accounting, and Logistics functions, including the Order to Cash cycle.
Translate business requirements into technical requirements to determine optimal ERP system configuration or customization as needed, including gap analysis.
Create Proofs-of-Concept, Prototypes or Conference Room Pilots to support implementation activity.
Manage, coordinate, and document all program changes within our Program Change Management framework.
Develop test plans which will ensure that changes meet their design specifications.
Work with the business to create an ERP system enhancement and expansion road map.
Assist end users in running and interpreting results of reports, and develop new reports as needed.
Provide ongoing ERP issue support and training.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor degree in a business related discipline.
8+ years of experience performing the above duties for a top tier ERP system such as Oracle, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
Experience supporting and managing external consulting resources and working within a remote delivery model.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Deep functional expertise in financial applications deployed in multi-company, multi-site, and multi-currency environments.
Experience working within Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) environments, including knowledge of Information Technology General Controls (ITGC).
Strong process skills.
Knowledge of SQL/SSRS in support of reporting preferred.
