eSampling Business Operations / Support Engineer InfoMedics
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED General Position Summary:
The business operations lead / support engineer is fluent in the details of Sampling business transactions, client and channel contracts and agreements, client and channel integration points, and key contacts. This person is hands-on and can perform technical (non-programming) tasks when necessary, including SQL queries, script execution, and product administration. This person investigates incidents, produces reports and follows-through to verify corrective actions. This person anticipates and follows-up on scheduled business events, and is an authority on business operations to people in other functions.
Essential Job Functions:
Keep business operations calendar for all business events for each day, week, month, quarter and year.
Escalate service interruptions or integration errors with partner firms
Become fluent in the logical and physical data models of the eSampling software.
Execute technical tasks including SQL queries, script execution and product administration
Analyzes application server log and event files
Performs first level technical investigation on production environments

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in IT related field and/or relevant work experience required.
2+ years of solid SQL programming experience required
Must be able to work with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite of Business Applications (Office, Visio, Project)
HTML experience a plus
.NET experience a plus
Ability to read, write, and articulate clearly. Excellent interpersonal skills and superior communication skills are essential.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Strong investigative and problem solving skills. Ability to define problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, model and propose solutions to issues.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Ability to learn other software programs and systems as necessary.
There are no supervisory responsibilities.
