Be a part of the Escalation Team of the US Technical Assistance Center. The engineer's role is to provide customers with senior level technical support and manage the communication with Development through analysis of problems, to facilitate installation, implementation, maintenance, education, and documentation of technical products in a technical support environment. Senior VPN expert with detailed understanding of VPN technology across multi-vendor hardware.
5+ Years VPN experience with VPN technology.
Candidate needs to have a expert level understanding of VPN technology:
-Extensive experience with IPSEC at a protocol level.
-Extensive experience with SSL VPN.
-Extensive experience with Authentication.
-Experience with either Check Point, Cisco, Fortinet, Sonic Wall, or other VPN vendor technologies.
Basic understanding of Linux and Red Hat. Understanding of advanced routing and OSPF preferred.
-Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
-Ability to learn/evaluate new products/technologies in a fast paced environment.
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in a technical team-oriented environment.
-Ability to demonstrate customer empathy, good customer diplomacy skills and problem ownership.
-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities including good time management skills.
