DescriptionThe ESD Engineer will be responsible for the ESD circuit strategy and implementation on Peregrine Products. This position requires knowledge of state-of-the-art ESD design and measurement techniques that will be used in the development process of ESD circuitry. This engineer will serve as the main contact point within Peregrine for ESD knowledge.
Roles & Responsibilities
Scoping and planning ESD strategy across Business Units and Product Lines
Design and prototyping of ESD
Measurement, characterization, and qualification of ESD structures
Implementation of ESD schemes at the product level
Analysis and knowledge of ESD designs on legacy Peregrine products
Designated Peregrine contact for all sub-contracting services related to ESD
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Knowledge of RF, analog, and digital circuits
Knowledge of state-of-the-art ESD design techniques and strategies
Proficient with design tools (Cadence)
Hands on experience with lab equipment including ESD testers
Good understanding of RF and mixed signal circuit design

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and English proficiency
Self-motivated and team oriented
Education and Experience:
BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent minimum
2+ years of relevant experience
