Position Purpose:The Estimated Project Value (EPV) Specialist is responsible for searching through plans and
specifications to determine square footage, cost and estimates in each project?s documents,
recording any findings and indicating where the information was located. Also, classifying the
project based upon the new project classification system and moves onto the next project.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
? Research to find project values on projects that do not have them provided.
? Conduct in depth research on projects by going through plans and specifications
? Ability to learn and use the iSqFt Takeoff tool.
? Will work with a large volume of data with consistent speed.
? Can absorb daily process changes and continue with a high level of turn around.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
? Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
? Ability to multitask
? Ability to work individually
? Ability to understand and communicate rationale behind classifying projects that
pertains to the construction industry
? Must have experience with data entry
Training and Educational Requirements:
? High School diploma or GED required, College degree preferred
? Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
? Knowledge of the construction industry preferred but not required
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
? Long periods at desk on computer.
