Provide equipment maintenance support for dry Etch equipment. Primary responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of Etch tool sets. Need to be able to work in a team environment to coordinate focused efforts with Etch Process Engineering, Manufacturing and Equipment Suppliers. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills and a high level of personal energy.
Provide technical support in the form of troubleshooting, diagnostics, adjustments, repair, modifications, assembly and calibration of equipment according to specifications, blueprints, manuals or written instructions.
Utilize a structured and comprehensive method to identify the root cause of process or equipment malfunctions; implements corrective action after thorough analysis to increase the probability of the right fix the first time.
Perform electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting for all area equipment. This includes tools, cables, test fixtures, gas and vacuum systems.
Perform chamber cleans and subassembly rebuilds following written instructions.
Perform periodic preventative maintenance as required and defined by the area specifications.
Use a variety of hand tools and diagnostic equipment including torque wrench, Helium leak detector, Pressure gauge, RF power meter.
Maintains accurate logs of work performed, modifications, calibrations and adjustments.
Works with minimal supervision
AAS degree in Electronics or related discipline and 3-5 years technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with statistical process control methodology.
Experience with AMAT 5200 platform (MXP, MXP+, DPS, DPSII, IPS)
Experience with TEL Unity II and Unity ME platforms (DRM, SCCM)
Experience with Gasonics ashers (PEP3510, 3500)
