As a strongly funded startup, we?re experiencing significant growth in Product Marketing, Technical Sales Engineering and Software Development.
Develop, define and drive marketing strategy, positioning, product launch plans and go to market messaging as it relates to hybrid cloud federation solutions.
Maximize the market share of existing products and launch new products.
Enable success of direct sales teams via developing and owning the assets, activities and collateral with deliverables such as positioning statements, key messaging, sales enablement training, web page content, social media messaging, case studies, white papers, Powerpoint slides, and product demos
Build support with and cultivate and work closely with a cross-functional product team (product management, sales, engineering, user experience) and the leadership team of bold new startup.
Demonstrate a strategic and results-driven perspective regarding evangelizing and advocating for the product.
This position requires an, accomplished Product Marketing Manager who truly understands how to drive strategic initiatives, create compelling messaging, thrives in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment and has the ability and track-record of influencing and collaborating with others. Additionally, you must have:
Requires 3-5 years of experience in products or solutions marketing in cloud products and solutions within the virtualization space, preferably with familiarity with infrastructure management, networking, and/or security technologies
Recent experience in cloud computing technologies data center virtualization consolidation, disaster recovery, backups, and networking.
Strong experience in industry and market analysis, segmentation, sales and customer analysis in technology environments.
Knowledge of Data Center architectures, databases, reporting tools, middleware, security, monitoring and high availability systems.
Understanding of major software and hardware vendors, system integrators, VARs/ISVs.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-moving environment.
Bachelors (Technology) or equivalent and MBA from a top school preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including public speaking to large audiences.
Strong hands on experience / capability with Powerpoint, Photoshop, and other office and marketing tools
Strong organization and project management skills.
Able to prioritize projects and work seamlessly with various stakeholders.
Small company experience and entrepreneurial bent.
Able to analyze financial, sales, support and survey data for insight and trends.
