What We're Looking For...
Our Event Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning, organization and execution of our largest annual event, ICON, as well as our customer and partner training events, and our brand awareness events. If you are energized by juggling moving pieces and orchestrating a myriad of details into one harmonious event, then we are looking for YOU. Support the event team with all aspects of preparing for events, including the planning process, budget management and participating in the physical activities of the actual event
Assist with event logistics including but not limited to:
Research and contract negotiations of potential event sites
Work with internal teams on event promotions and attendee communications
Assist with sponsorship objectives for events
Help secure logistical details of events including food and beverage menus, Audio Visual, room set-up, transportation, housing, etc.
Negotiate agreements with outside providers to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service
At minimum 1-2 years of relevant event planning experience
Ideally, What You Possess...

Backstory: #ICON14 (formerly InfusionCon) is our largest, annual company conference. In 2014 it will be hosted April 23-25th at the Phoenix Convention Center. The conference includes a myriad of special events, VIP dinners, networking events and more.
Scenario: You?re in charge of planning all of the logistics for a VIP dinner for 60 people. The attendees will be our Executive leadership team, as well as 30 media and analyst personnel from around the country. We would like the event to include some sort of ?piece of the Southwest? for the guests.
Please put together a plan that you would present to our PR Manager, outlining the details for this event.
Things to consider:
The group will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Downtown Phoenix
There will be a short (5-10 minute) verbal welcome from our CEO
