The Events Coordinator is part of the Marketing team, and will report directly to a Product Marketing lead. The successful candidate will work with an agile and growing team of dedicated product marketing and PR professionals to coordinate events. This is a role that requires a lot of organization, juggling of multiple deadlines, great teamwork skills and working on several projects simultaneously.The primary responsibility of the role is to coordinate all DeNA Americas and Europe Consumer and PR events. You will work with the Product Marketing lead to position messaging for each event and create necessary collaterals.
You will also coordinate and negotiate with event vendors, and help monitor event metrics. All candidates need to be very organized and detail-oriented, and have some exposure or experience in event planning and attending tech events.
Responsibilities
? Acts as the primary logistics and technical support person for marketing events and trade shows.
? Manages onsite set-up and execution of marketing events.
? Establishes staff schedules, educates staff on event, and organizes travel arrangements.
? Collaborates with Product Marketing to position messaging for each event and create necessary collateral.
? Relays relevant event metrics and data to the Product Marketing Manager.
? Coordinates speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
? Works with Senior PR Manager to research and coordinate speaking opportunities.
? Research domestic and international events that DeNA should be involved in.
? Maintains a calendar of events.
Requirements
? Ideally 1-2 years of event marketing in gaming, tech or a startup environment.
? Fantastic team player that can work very well independently
? Successfully organized and executed events, large or small (meetups, parties, outings, conferences, tradeshows, hackathons, etc.).
? Effectively managed and worked with limited budget constraints.
? Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
? Proactive and thoughtful communicator.
? Love for gaming, mobile and all things digital is a big plus!
