THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Qvidian, a market leader in cloud-based sales execution solutions, has an opening for an Event Marketing Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a high-impact role in a fast-growing company with notable customers. We are a privately-held company with offices in Cincinnati, Ohio and Chelmsford, Massachusetts. This position will be based in our Chelmsford office.
The Event Marketing Manager will lead strategic planning and tactical execution of all events supporting Qvidian?s multi-channel marketing program efforts. These events are key to Qvidian?s lead generation strategy, as well as to its market education and brand awareness initiatives. With a focus on customer and prospect experience, business impact, and ROI, this position will have end-to-end responsibility for event program planning and execution including program definition, event marketing, sponsorship strategy, and timelines.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects at once, while maintaining great attention to detail with a fun, positive attitude. This position requires superior project management, strategic mindset, communication and organizational skills along with the ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment.
Develop and maintain understanding of market and customer needs to define overall event strategies
Create and drive strategic event planning including definition, goals, themes, and approach
Ensure success of our annual customer conference by managing all elements of the program from promotion, agenda definition, sponsorship packages, speaker solicitation, and all other activities related to its success
Research and determine third-party events that complement Qvidian?s go-to-market strategy and manage execution to drive highest ROI
Define and execute on regional field events and roadshows
Manage internal company meetings and sales meetings
Create and oversee overall events calendar
Manage multi-channel event campaigns that include email, promotions, social, and other parts of the marketing mix to drive event success
Monitor and analyze budgets, invoices and costs with ROI in mind
Work with Marketing Programs Manager to define and execute virtual events that support overall programs plan
5+ years of event marketing experience, preferably in B2B industry
CRM (preferably Salesforce.com) and marketing automation (preferably Marketo) experience
Working knowledge of marketing programs and end-to-end demand generation
Ability to think creatively and drive innovative ideas
Goal-oriented, analytical thinker with a focus on ROI
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Demonstrated ability negotiating with vendors and event coordinators
High attention to detail and quality with the ability to manage changing deadlines and balance shifting priorities
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects at once
A positive, entrepreneurial, high-energy, self-starter attitude
Ability to travel
Experience across European markets a plus
