We are looking for an experienced Events and Public Relations Manager to join our Cardlytics? Marketing Team in San Francisco, CA! The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience managing and implementing B2B events and related public relations activities within a company, or for an agency. If you are a curious marketer with a desire for finding the best solutions and connecting the right people then this is the job for you! The Events and Public Relations Manager at Cardlytics is a key contributor to the Marketing team. This person will make sure we have the best relationships to help us reach out to partners, clients and customers who we can deliver the most value. Working in our San Francisco office, this person will be the go-to for our management teams and our public relations firms, developing, communicating and implementing an integrated media effort that supports brand, partnership, sales and customer relationships across the company. This management position requires successful experience building relationships with associations, industry publications, councils and analysts so the team can hit the ground running in positioning our company as a thought leader in new and rapidly growing sector.
Skills & Requirements
? Maintain a strategic perspective and optimize the opportunity for a ?network effect? across all of our marketing disciplines, with particular focus on events and public relations company-wide
? Ensure the brand is positioned as a thought-leader with key constituents by developing valued relationships with industry communicators to secure the best speaking engagements and event opportunities
? Closely coordinate public relations initiatives with media events, conferences, seminars, webinars, workshops and customer events. Manage the company?s participation in awards and nominations
? Co-develop integrated public relations efforts that support and facilitate event goals and objectives; develop and execute programs that accurately and intuitively communicate our solutions to our target audiences
? Oversee the implementation of all events, lead generation software and integration, and related materials for external and internal audiences including promotional items, collateral, presentations, videos, etc.
? Oversee the implementation of media relations, interviews and presentations
? Monitor market and industry news, trends and strategies, actively contributing to the intelligence of the marketing team and company overall, including outreach to influencers to help build a community of brand ambassadors
? Anticipate and prepare to address questions and issues from various constituents, including explaining complex concepts with confidence
? Participate and contribute to cross-discipline project teams as needed
? Attend and manage conferences and events
? 3+ years of experience managing and implementing B2B events and related public relations activities within a company, or for an agency
? The ability to maintain strategic perspective and anticipate outcomes is crucial
? Success in coordinating and implementing integrated marketing efforts for incremental impact is required
? Excellent project and time management skills are essential, as is attention to detail
? Experience working with advertising technology is desired.
? Some understanding of financial applications or consumer banking is a plus.
? An understanding of the complementary role of social media to brand building and thought-leadership is desired.
