LogRhythm is seeking a strong, creative and experienced Events Manager to be a key part of LogRhythm?s marketing team. As the Events Manager, you will play a high profile, extremely critical role in driving the value of our Security Intelligence message to the marketplace. You will work with a fast-paced and dynamic team planning, organizing and implementing events, tradeshows (both physical and virtual) and meetings for the organization.
You will manage LogRhythm?s national and channel marketing event budgets to ensure that events and tradeshows are appropriately selected, managed and implemented to drive high-quality leads, brand awareness and a measurable contribution to LogRhythm?s bottom line/success. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Manage $1.5MM North America events budget to deliver strong ROI and generate sufficient number of quality leads to support annual sales targets. Event types:
2-4 major industry tradeshows (20? x 30?)
10-12 small industry/regional tradeshows (10?x10?)
Up to 50 small partner & channel events/activities
5-10 virtual shows/conferences
Lead all logistical planning, including pre/post show documentation and communication, booth selection, design, staffing, attendee housing, floor management, training and management of all ancillary meetings for LogRhythm products, brand, messaging and overall image.
Work as a part of the marketing team to develop and implement an ongoing, effective tradeshow & events calendar/schedule by identifying event opportunities.
Work with various departments (LogRhythm Labs, product management, product marketing, etc.) to recruit, prepare and support thought leadership opportunities (speaking engagements) at events and conferences.
Manage activities of all relevant vendors, suppliers and external business partners, including creative agencies & promotional items vendors, destination management companies, audio/visual services, association management, transportation and hotel/catering services.
Assist with the development of booth graphics and other marketing-driven trade show deliverables.
Ensure that corporate brand and messaging strategies are implemented and kept current at all public-facing events.
Manage a supporting team member(s) to ensure multitude of event commitments are executed effectively & efficiently.Deliver events/conferences on time and within budget that meet (and hopefully exceed) expectations.
Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.
Be able/willing to pitch in on ancillary ? but related ? marketing initiatives to support the collective efforts of the marketing team (e.g., customer newsletters, executive photography management, etc.)
May also be tasked with supporting various company-related activities (e.g., sales meetings, departmental gatherings, company gatherings, etc.)
As LogRhythm Events Manager, you will be required to work independently and collaboratively as a member of the marketing team.
6-8 years of related industry experience in events management in marketing departments; technology company experience preferred.
Proficient in budgetary planning and tracking. Capable of evaluating cost decisions/tradeoffs and consistently making fiscally-sound decisions in LogRhythm?s best interest.
Highly honed organizational skills and maniacal attention to detail
Proven ability to work with a cross functional team.
Experience with marketing and sales automation systems (Marketo, Salesforce, etc.) desired
Ability to travel 3-5 times/year to perform on-site management/coordination of major, national events.
Proactively seeks innovative ways to create value by establishing credible standards with limited resources
Master complexity of managing multitude of marketing directives across geography/worldwide boundaries
