About the Role
Experiential Marketing is critically important to Alfresco. We are looking for a dynamic event leader who knows how to create experiences that are unique, enjoyable, entertaining and educational. The Manager of events will be responsible for creating and executing all aspects of our event strategy, including identifying key events to attend/sponsor; managing our presence at events; attendee marketing; and developing speaker opportunities and presentations. Event marketing is going through dramatic changes and we seek a global leader who embraces those changes and wants to create an event roadmap that will drive the company?s revenue and help contribute to the Alfresco brand image.
Create and execute company?s event marketing strategy
Identify key events, tradeshows and other sponsorship opportunities that target company?s core audience
Manage company?s presence at events (branding, registration, attendee marketing, lead generation, etc.)
Manage outside resources where necessary
Attend events and tradeshows and coordinate company?s presence
Identify and develop strategic marketing partnerships
Manage and improve company?s events programs
7+ years experience in event marketing , mostly in the technology services/solutions space
5+ years experience in B2B marketing
Proven track record of acquiring customers and expanding brand presence through events and partnerships
Extensive experience with international B2B event & partnership marketing
Excellent strategic planning & communications skills
Excellent project/program management skills
Strong focus on and understanding of brand integrity/affinity/awareness
Strong analytics skills and experience with tracking key performance metrics for event marketing and partnerships
BA/BS strongly preferred
Some travel required - estimated 20%
