Events & Operations Coordinator 2U, Inc.
Job Responsibilities:The Events & Operations Coordinator will be responsible for researching, promoting and executing all events for our Nursing program, including Georgetown, NHS, local and remote nursing community events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Planning and executing logistical, administrative, and hosting events surrounding each On-Campus Intensive (OCI) weekend. Examples of the associate activities include creating name tags for each person participating in the weekend (students, faculty, and staff), researching and setting up welcome gifts for students, researching and planning social events and meals, creating welcome packets, setting up help/registration desk.
Managing 2GU community engagement
Managing the Student Mentoring Program
Planning, promoting, and executing local and remote student networking events
Managing alumni events and communication for current and past students
Researching and managing vendor relationships (hotels, giveaways)
Documenting operations processes related to enrolled students
Creating forms and documents related to enrolled students
Providing on-call operations support
Providing phone coverage for the Student Support and Faculty Support phone lines
Requirements
Bachelor?s degree
Experience in event planning or project coordination a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and/or project management software
Prior experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships
