Company:Evolve Media Corp. is an integrated digital media company focused on vertical publishing, advertising sales and marketing services for its clients. Evolve?s mission is to produce and monetize premium digital content, offering programs to online marketers that deliver Content, Context and Creative with Scale.
Evolve?s Public Relations Department develops and executes communications strategy for the company and its various business units. The PR Intern will work closely with the Public Relations Associate and Director of Communications Marketing on matters of publicity and communications for Evolve and its divisions.Interns will work on numerous projects that will allow them to learn the basics of public relations while being a part of a rapidly growing company in an exciting environment!
Main Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize press lists and media database
Maintain and update award and conference database
Track and monitor company?s media coverage with press clippings and coverage reports
Research prospects for media outreach
Research and compile information for press releases
Requirements:
Candidate must be enrolled in a college or university.
Enrollment in journalism, public relations, and/or marketing classes is preferred.
Candidate must be available for a total of at least 20 hours a week for a minimum of a 12-week period.
This is a non-paid internship. Evolve can work with the university to provide course credit.
Must be a flexible team-player who is excited to learn how a fast-growing digital media company works!
Candidate must understand that work tasks may change daily.
