Bridgelux has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Executive Assistant. As the executive assistant, this position provides clerical, operational and personal support to the CEO and the other senior level executives if required.
â€¢ Manage and perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative duties for the CEO.
â€¢ Maintain a warm, professional demeanor in a fast paced, demanding work environment.
â€¢ Proactively manage the CEO's calendar, updating PDA's and Outlook to accommodate shifting priorities; ensure all parties impacted by required changes are treated with the utmost courtesy and professionalism.
â€¢ Complete all travel arrangements-extensive travel in the US, Europe and Asia also obtain all necessary travel documents. Coordinate travel/documents for Board meetings.
â€¢ Responsible for completing expense reports.
â€¢ Prepare high level PowerPoint presentations for CEO to present at both internal and external meetings and conferences.
â€¢ Support CEO's activities around corporate and outside Board of Director duties.
â€¢ Apply an in-depth understanding of the business; attend to requests coming in to the CEO from business relations with an appropriate level of attention and discretion (listening to the issue, understanding the impact of the issue, responding with appropriate actions using independent judgment).
â€¢ Maintain calendar of CEOâ€" ensure they remain on schedule and properly prioritized throughout the day given the changing business requirements.
â€¢ Set up, organize and maintain files and other records for easy accessibility.
â€¢ 8+ years of administrative assistant experience supporting senior level executives in a private and/or public company.
â€¢ BA/BS degree preferred.
â€¢ Extensive knowledge of PowerPoint and creative ability to prepare high quality presentations.
â€¢ Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite programs (MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
â€¢ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people with diverse cultural backgrounds.
â€¢ Excellent organizational skills to create and maintain an ordered work environment.
â€¢ Possess the ability to handle a multitude of projects simultaneously.
â€¢ Maintain a genuinely positive disposition and good work ethic regardless of work demands.
â€¢ Ability to research information in a timely fashion (internet, through industry experts, etc.).
â€¢ Knowledge of business and management principles, time management and problem solving skills.
â€¢ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly refined ability to use discretion with regard to confidential information.
