Position Duties and Responsibilities
The Executive Director of Business Development is a proven sales executive with a solid track record in sales leadership within the wireless industry who supports the Western Region - VP of Business Development for the continued development of ExteNet?s business in the Western Region of the United States. The Executive Director of Business Development is responsible for working with Wireless Service Providers (WSPs) to proactively identify and develop new business opportunities where ExteNet?s indoor or outdoor distributed network architecture can be implemented to address capacity and/or coverage challenged areas. The Executive Director of Business Development will coordinate with ExteNet engineering, implementation, operations and regulatory personnel to ensure that ExteNet resources are aligned to meet customer and business objective. Following is a listing of key responsibilities:
Develop, implement and manage a sales strategy to grow ExteNet?s business with T-Mobile Corporate
Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to grow ExteNet?s business in the NW area of the Western Region (from San Francisco through the Pacific Northwest) with all WSP?s.
Communicate ExteNet?s distributed network service offering to WSP personnel at all levels.
Identify opportunities to implement distributed networks to help WSPs address coverage and/or capacity challenged areas.
Identify in-building opportunities for distributed networks.
Provide direction to ExteNet engineering, implementation, operations and regulatory personnel to ensure that resources are properly aligned to meet customer and business objectives.
Proactively identify and develop a pipeline of network opportunities.
Prepare and submit proposals, license agreements and other formal responses to the WSPs.
Experience in the wireless industry with a demonstrated record of success.
Prefer an individual who has extensive experience working with Wireless Service Providers in the western region of the United States on the network side of the business.
An understanding of wireless technologies from both an RF and implementation perspective is desirable. Specific knowledge and understanding of distributed network architecture a plus.
Strong understanding and familiarity of T-Mobile a plus.
Travel & Region
Travel is expected to be about 50%
Region is western United States.
Primary responsibility is NW (including San Francisco).
