The position is responsible for the medical group management to include recruitment, supervising scheduling, credentialing and medical billing/collection. They are also responsible for the nursing manager and training for all staff to assure that there is collaboration and clinical design in the monitoring center that best serves our customers. The position provides leadership and oversight to clinical delivery and creates an environment for continuing development, growth and program enhancement.
Senior Vice President of Operations
Promote the philosophy, mission, and objective of organization within and to customers.
Work with senior leadership to interpret the organization?s vision into clear goals that can be measured and monitored on a regular basis.
Forecast staffing needs with input from sales projections, management
Ensure there is recruiting, hiring, orientation/training for a sufficient number of qualified staff to carry out organization?s programs and services
Ensure adequate numbers of staff to meet clinical needs
Support Medical Staff Office in obtaining timely licenses and credentials for meeting company needs
Ensure that training needs (clinical and non-clinical) of the staff are met
Ensure staff complies with organization, clinical and operational standards, policies and procedures
Proactively work with the client account managers to address customer service and clinical staff performance issues.
Proactively work with the VPMA and Medical Directors to address customer service and performance issues.
Participate in developing efficient internal clinical workflows that provide timely and accurate delivery of services
Manage and communicate change as new processes, programs, etc. are introduced.
Schedule regular meeting with direct report staff to provide supervision, ensure communication and to monitor facility operations.
Manages expenses and monitors budget for areas of responsibility.
Supervise third party pro fee collection group and ensure optimal performance.
Ensure adequate preparation for, and participate in, regulatory compliance surveys. Support medical billing compliance with state and federal regulations. Support TJC accreditation through the Medical Staff Office.
Maintain and guide the implementation of the organization?s policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines.
Participate in and support management committees.
Conduct and document annual performance evaluations on each direct report staff.
Conduct and analyze results of employee satisfaction surveys, turnover, and key indicator reports.
Bachelors Degree, masters preferred
Experience in managing physician medical practices successfully
A minimum of ten years of progressive clinical management experience in a specialty area.
Proven leadership, facilitative, and clinical educational skills.
Evidence of collaborative practice with physicians.
Evidence of effective communication skills.
