The 2U Recruiting team hires for every department of our constantly growing business. We are expanding our current model to offer recruiting consulting services to our University Partners. We need a sharp, savvy, driven Executive Faculty Recruiter who will be an integral part of our new service offering. This role is both strategic and tactical and requires someone who can maneuver comfortably in either skill. This person will support both the recruiting efforts of our University partners? faculty and supplement 2U?s executive hiring.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Create and implement a set of recruiting services which will be offered to our University partners to supplement their faculty hiring.
Work closely with launch team and sr. leadership to stay abreast of changes impacting faculty selection
Act as a consultant by establishing a recruiting strategy specifically designed for each partner?s unique staffing needs. In some cases, this may be limited to advising and in other cases will include conducting searches on behalf of University partners. Strategy may include:
Leading the search for all faculty recruitment including compiling target candidate lists and researching candidate profiles
Screening faculty candidates for minimum requirements, competencies and experiences
Recommending qualified applicants to university leadership
Developing and maintaining working relationships with various organizations and networks to develop leads for prospective faculty for 2U partner schools
Sourcing faculty members through other strategic efforts such as post job openings, networking events, etc.
Responsible for executing the strategy in partnership with University counterparts.
Responsible for leading key internal executive searches for 2U.
Things That Should Be in Your Background :
Bachelor?s degree required
5-7 years of recruiting experience required, with some agency experience preferred; minimum 3 years of experience in faculty or executive recruitment required
Proven experience working in an executive search or highly consultative recruitment environment while managing aggressive recruiting targets
Strong customer service background and management experience
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
