POSITION TITLE
Executive Human Resources Assistant
LOCATION
Washington, DC
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives visitors and answers telephone calls.
Maintains the Executive Director's calendar and schedules appointments and conferences.
Reviews incoming correspondence, reports, instructions, etc., to determine issues to be handled personally, by the Executive Director, or staff.
Maintains control records on incoming correspondence and action documents and follows up on work in process.
Makes necessary arrangements for travel, transportation, and hotel reservations.
Searches for information in files, handbooks, or official publications, or through telephone inquiries to internal or external contacts.
Receives and distributes office mail.
Composes a variety of materials including vacancy announcements, memoranda, and reports.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
HS diploma, or equivalent, with a minimum of five (5) years experience providing high level Executive Assistant services.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Current Federal Background Investigation (NACI) preferred.
Previous Federal government experience preferred.
