Job Summary: The Expense Analyst provides quality control services for billing optimizations and preparation of data for client monthly and quarterly reviews. The EA is responsible for all carrier data analysis, optimization, and presentation of financial management reviews for all managed clients.
Position Description/Responsibilities:
Prepares and presents all optimization, defect and rate plan optimization analysis on a timely basis
Prepares Quarterly Business Review (QBR) data and presents in standard power point template format
Provides baseline savings summary data
Provides any and all adhoc savings and comparison analysis requested by the client
Provides training documentation and process flow charts for all Expense Management processes
Reviews and interprets carrier contracts
Presents financial data to a variety of audiences including "C" level executives
Maintains a variety of databases
Tracks data for Benchmarking on a variety of data points
Maintains active daily relationship with Account Relationship Manager and Account Services Manager to ensure quality analysis of client carrier data
Maintains accurate Client Profile updates including all carrier plan and feature updates and changes
Qualifications / Experience:
Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual must have in depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet software. A working knowledge of Access and Power Point is also required.
Decision Making - Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Communication ? Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquires or client complaints. Ability to effectively present information to top management.
