ResponsibilitiesYou?ll be working with a terrific group of senior developers as a key contributor to design and develop our next generation of search-based analytics and high performance business process applications. Your skills and experience with Java-based software development will accelerate our rollout of new features for our existing products as well as with new and better ways to approach our application category. You?ll work with minimal day-to-day supervision, but with lots of interaction with your fellow developers, product management, QA and Support to keep releases on schedule and customer satisfaction high.
Qualifications
? 5+ years of previous experience in commercial software with an emphasis on Java, JDBC, Hibernate, Tomcat and other Java technologies
? Strong object oriented analysis, design and development background
? Background in RDBMS development preferably with MySQL and Oracle
? Proven track record in design and implementation of large scale web applications
? Proficient in Linux and Windows environments
? Ability to turn requirements into successful technical solutions
? Self-motivated. Able to work independently in a fast paced development environment
? Good understanding of open source software and licensing and experience using open source in development
? Good written and verbal communication skills and enthusiasm for collaborating with product management, QA and marketing and for interacting with customers
