Our global consulting practice is expanding and were looking for experienced external consultants to partner with Capital H Group consultants on a project basis to support our growing client base in the areas of talent management, organizational design and effectiveness, and leadership.
External Consultant - Position Overview
External Consultants (ECs) are responsible for: providing highest quality work products and deliverables; promoting the firms reputation in the marketplace; providing thought leadership in their area of specialty; identifying and designing innovative and practical human resource-related solutions to meet our clients business needs; ensuring superior execution with clients by collaborating with other Capital H Group Consultants and firm leaders. Project roles are guided by a number of variablesincluding, consultant strengths, team composition, firm staffing realities and client needs. All external consultants will report to a Capital H Group Project Manger.

8 Tailors project solutions and approach to meet changing client needs Qualifications & Technical Skills:Has or is developing technical skills consistent with the firms offering
8 4 years of related experience in a consulting environment
8 Proven experience consulting with groups/companies on people related business issues
8 Exhibits breadth in multiple areas of our offering and depth on one or two content areas: talent management, organization design & effectiveness, HR and other process design, and leadership
8 Provides subject matter expertise for project team members based on specialized industry and/or content knowledge
8 Individual contributor on most projects and possible subject matter expert
8 Strong analytical capability and quantitative skills
8 Ability to organize and execute work leading to a successful outcome
8 Ability to grasp new issues quickly and develop solutions
8 Experience working independently and cooperatively with a wide variety of people 8 Effectively builds clients trust and confidence as expert and business advisor
8 Ability to manage small, medium and large scale projects (participants in timeline, work steps, budget, resources, etc...) on an as needed basis
8 Willingness to work on a project/contractor basis and adapt to changing work and some travel
8 Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; statistical and database applications a plus
