What you?ll do
As a Facilities Manager, you will provide direction and oversight for all facilities related projects and processes for real estate selection and management, space planning, project management and day to day operations including security, office services & supplies, vendor management and systems.
How you?ll do it
Manage and supervise a team to include maintenance, office service and vendors (security, cafeteria, etc).
Supervise the repair and maintenance of Belkin North America facilities which include Playa Vista, CA, Irvine, CA, San Mateo, CA, Seattle, WA and Plainfield, IN.
Arrange for the repair and maintenance of equipment and structures as necessary.
Work with VP of HR/COO to develop a facilities strategy & tactical plan to ensure that we provide a safe, healthy & productive work environment.
Ensure that our offices maintain an image and environment that is reflective of Belkin?s culture and values and is seen as an extension of one home.
Implement tactical plan and ensure that all projects come in on time and within budget.
Keep track of organizational changes and needs and anticipate facilities repercussions, taking proactive steps to support the organization in coordination with HR and team leaders.
In coordination with HR, implement all facility-related policies and revise and/or develop policies in accordance with the needs of the business.
Oversee all aspects of and manage Security at all location(s) making sure to set clear guidelines for Security Company.
What you?ll need
Bachelors? degree in management or minimum of 5 years facilities/project/ maintenance
Minimum of three years supervisory and project management experience
Attention to detail and logical problem solving skills
Contribute to positive and healthy environment
No convictions of misdemeanor or felony
What you?ve done
Oversee site analyses and selection working with Director of Operations, real estate professionals and Executive Team. Provide expertise and counsel to the real estate decision making process.
Maintain all leases and leasing relationships, including monitoring lease renewal, base year audits, and cost escalation
Work with project management consultants and space planners, oversee all building layouts, furniture layouts and construction ensuring compliance with laws and codes, and ensuring that designs reflect our company philosophy and create the most productive work environment possible
Develop scope of work and competitively bid all projects.
Assess all services including contractors, supply vendors for office supplies, coffee, vending machines etc. ensuring that the balance of quality and cost is maintained.
