The Facilities Technician shall demonstrate advanced technical skills and capabilities with regard to the installation, alteration, operation and sustaining functions concerning: WWTS, HVAC, RO/DI, tool exhaust scrubber systems and toxic gas delivery systems; as well as basic office/production environment maintenance. The technician at this level shall demonstrate the ability to recommend contractors and work with tradesmen to accomplish corporate goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
Daily inspection of facility related manufacturing support systems
Serve as first responder to facilities equipment trouble issues
Directly support tool installation on an ?on-time, on-schedule? basis
Generate PM schedules and procedures
Perform multiple projects/tasks concurrently.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic facility systems
Be able to repair advanced HVAC systems: such as VVD, DX maintenance, air handlers? humidity control systems and duct sizing for advanced systems support
Perform facility tool & system PM?s according to Mfg & internal specifications
Support and sustain systems involving hazardous chemicals; gases and liquids
Demonstrate advanced capabilities regarding piping materials and installation
Support Equipment Maintenance Engineers & Technicians
Support all customers; internal and external
Other tasks as assigned by the department manager
Education and Qualifications:
Required: Minimum; AS in general engineering / mechanical engineering or equivalent with at least 7 years of related experience in semiconductor or photovoltaic firms or similar technologies. Trade school education if related will be strongly considered.
Strong working knowledge of semiconductor / photovoltaic chemistry is strongly desired
Ability to read architectural, mechanical and electrical plan drawings is required
Proficient with hand tools, common power tools, and fine measurement tools
Working knowledge of RO/DI systems, exhaust scrubber systems, toxic gas delivery systems and HVAC is required
HAZWOPER Certification is a plus
Lock-out / Tag-out training is required
Emergency Response Team experience
Above average communication skills: Ability to write ?Maintenance Procedures?, ?Work Instructions?, and define ?scope of work? details to company contractors
Above average computer skills; Word, Excel and Autocad (preferred)
