Kiva is seeking a talented and motivated individual to contribute to the Customer Solutions team
as a Facility Planning Specialist. The Facility Planning Specialist specializes in conceptualizing,
designing, and rendering the physical layout of complete Kiva systems. Duties include, but are
not limited to:
- Producing detailed conceptual/design drawings in AutoCAD of the Kiva solution in
customer facilities during the pre-contract (sales/design) phase
- Producing detailed installation drawings in AutoCAD during the post-contract
(deployment) phase
- Creating Kiva drive movement floor plans (digital maps) using proprietary tools
- Participating in customer-facing meetings regarding facility planning.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Multiple years of experience with AutoCAD (2D) or equivalent software
- A background in industrial facilities layout and particularly material handling systems
- Commitment to quality and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve it
- Dedication and energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapted to changing
priorities.
- A can-do, team-oriented approach to the workplace
- Good communication skills
- Versatility to execute other assignments from time to time
Additional helpful qualifications would include:
- Four-year college degree
- Experience in/knowledge of warehouse operations
- 3D drawing experience
