The Faculty Support Coordinator is responsible for maintaining faculty relations with the University partner while also preparing faculty to teach in an online environment effectively and efficiently. This position is a critical first line of defense in executing 2U?s expected white glove service level for its faculty and students.
The Faculty Support Coordinator will work closely with the school and 2U?s curriculum team to ensure faculty needs are acknowledged, met, and followed up with. The Faculty Support Coordinator will join a growing faculty support team that provides high-quality support and training to our program faculty and ensures that they are in a position to provide an outstanding online learning experience for our students.
What You?ll Be Responsible For:
Effectively training all new program faculty on the online platform with the goal of self sufficient successful online professors.
Assisting in monitoring class times as well as providing follow-up with professors.
Corresponding with University staff and internal cross-functional teams to promptly resolve student issues.
Maintaining regular communication with all faculty at a minimum of every two weeks
Mastery in the online Learning Management System as well as Adobe Connect Pro in order to proficiently provide technical assistance to faculty and troubleshoot with competence.
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Bachelor?s degree required (BSW preferred).
Minimum 2 ? 3 years experience working in a service-oriented, customer support or related field.
Strong background in Education and/or Training.
Familiarity with online learning technology a plus.
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills, especially via phone in the establishment of relationships with faculty members in other locations.
Patience working with those not as tech saavy.
Ability to work with a core team in a fast-paced environment.
