The Faculty Support Coordinator is responsible for efficiently preparing faculty to teach in an online environment. This position is a critical first line of support in executing 2U?s expected white-glove service level for its faculty and students.
The Faculty Support Coordinator will work closely with faculty to ensure their needs are acknowledged and met as quickly as possible. The Faculty Support Coordinator will join a growing faculty support team that provides high-quality support and training to our program faculty and ensures that they are in a position to provide an outstanding online learning experience for our students.
What You?ll Be Responsible For:
Effectively training all new faculty how to use the online learning platform with the goal of creating self-sufficient successful online professors.
Actively monitoring live online classes to ensure successful delivery.
Engaging university staff and internal cross-functional teams to promptly resolve any issues.
Tracking, triaging and quickly resolving technical issues for faculty.
Communicating clearly, patiently and concisely with faculty, in writing and verbally (over the phone.)
Mastering administration of the online Learning Management System, as well as Adobe Connect Pro, in order to proficiently provide technical assistance to faculty and troubleshoot with competence.
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Bachelor?s degree required.
Minimum 2 ? 3 years of experience working in a service-oriented, customer support or related position.
Excellent computer skills.
Solid understanding of education and/or training.
Familiarity with online learning technology and Salesforce.com are a plus.
