Job Description:
ï'§ Reporting to the RVP in Market Research, the successful candidate for this position will work independently to provide RVPs and Account Managers with information critical to decision-making and/or execution for proposed or sold projects.
Responsibilities:
ï'§ Assist in the preparation and administration of request for proposals.
ï'§ Assist in the implementation for panel management activities.
ï'§ Proactively seek and perform analysis of Market Research initiatives.
ï'§ Perform advanced analytics such as targeting and segmentation.
ï'§ Implement list matches on pre-sale and post-sale projects.
ï'§ Design and develop custom analysis tools in a variety of programming languages and applications such as SQL Plus, SAS, and MS Excel.
ï'§ Follow-up on results of data analysis with end-users.
Skill Requirements:
ï'§ Strong knowledge of Database Analysis and Reporting.
ï'§ Strong knowledge of Applied Statistics and Optimization techniques and the ability to apply to real-world business situations. Attention to detail is a must
ï'§ Independent thinker and problem-solver, with the ability to work directly with diverse business groups, anticipate business needs, and develop tools & processes in order to meet them.
ï'§ Strong Understanding of the needs/requirements of business customers.
ï'§ Proficiency with Oracle PL/SQL and SAS.
ï'§ Ability to present analytics results to a non-technical audience.
ï'§ Experience with pharmaceutical sales and marketing data is highly desirable.
Other:
ï'§ Education and Experience: Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or Quantitative discipline with 3 years experience or Bachelors in a Quantitative discipline with 5 years experience.
ï'§ Previous experience in a top-tier consulting firm is desirable.
ï'§ Pharmaceutical Industry experience is preferred.
ï'§ Permanent Residence or US Citizenship is required.
