About Polygon:Polygon is a video game website built to cover not just the newest releases but the people that make them, the fans that love them and the history that preceded them. We present it all with responsive technology that gives this intensely visual medium the platform it deserves.
Polygon is looking for a features writer to join its editorial staff.
Responsibilities:
Creating long-form features: Includes conceptualization, gathering information and art assets, writing, editing and layout. May contribute to other areas of non-feature content as assigned
A successful candidate for Polygon features writer will have a 4-year degree in journalism or communications or equivalent life experience. He, she or it will have two to five years experience working for a recognized journalist outlet or website. They will have a passion for gaming and storytelling. Additional desirable skills include news reporting, review, web layout. On-camera experience would be helpful, but not required.
